Vantyr | Last Updated: 15 May 2025 | Effective: 15 May 2025
These terms govern use of the Vantyr website and our CUDA programming education programmes. Please read them before enquiring or enrolling.
In these Terms & Conditions, the following terms have the meanings set out below:
By using the Website, submitting an enquiry, or enrolling in a Programme, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement.
You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in Malaysia to use our services. If you are enrolling on behalf of an Organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that Organisation to this Agreement.
If you do not accept these terms, please refrain from using the Website or enrolling in any Programme.
Vantyr provides parallel programming education resources and instruction, currently comprising three Programmes:
Vantyr reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any Programme at its reasonable discretion. Where material changes affect an active enrolment, Vantyr will provide reasonable notice and, where appropriate, an alternative arrangement.
Our Programmes are delivered primarily from Johor Bahru, Malaysia, and are currently available to participants based in Malaysia. Remote or online access may be available depending on the Programme format; please confirm with us at the time of enquiry.
Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of Vantyr's written confirmation and payment of the applicable fee. Places are subject to availability.
Access to Programme materials is granted to enrolled Participants for the duration of the Programme, or for the period specified at enrolment. Access is personal and non-transferable unless expressly agreed in writing.
For the Team Enablement Programme, the scope of access and delivery will be set out in a separate engagement letter agreed between Vantyr and the Organisation.
Participants are responsible for maintaining the security of any login credentials or access links provided. Sharing access with non-enrolled individuals is not permitted.
As a Participant or visitor to the Website, you agree to:
Vantyr reserves the right to withdraw access to any Participant who materially breaches these responsibilities, without obligation to provide a refund where the breach is attributable to the Participant's own conduct.
All Content provided through Vantyr's Website and Programmes — including but not limited to written materials, code examples, exercises, slides, and the Team Enablement Programme handbook — is the intellectual property of Vantyr or its licensors.
Upon enrolment, Vantyr grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Content for your personal professional development during the applicable Programme period. This licence does not permit you to:
For Team Enablement Programmes, the Organisation receives a licence to the reference handbook for internal use by its own employees. Use beyond that scope requires separate written agreement.
Programme fees are as published on the Website at the time of enquiry. All fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Current fees:
Payment terms will be confirmed at the time of enrolment. Vantyr reserves the right to adjust fees for future intake cohorts; such changes will not affect confirmed enrolments.
Refund policy: Requests for withdrawal received at least 7 calendar days before the Programme start date will be considered for a refund, less any administrative costs already incurred. Requests received after that point will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Self-paced digital access (Parallel Basics Track) is non-refundable once access has been granted, except where required by applicable Malaysian consumer protection law.
Vantyr's Programmes are provided as educational resources. They are offered "as is" and Vantyr makes no representation that completion of a Programme will result in employment, certification by a third party, or any particular professional outcome.
Programming concepts and GPU computing environments evolve; while Vantyr maintains its materials with reasonable care, specific tools, libraries, or platform behaviours referenced in materials may change after publication.
The Website and Content are provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vantyr's total liability to you in connection with this Agreement — whether in contract, tort, or otherwise — shall not exceed the fees paid by you for the relevant Programme in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Vantyr shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss, including but not limited to loss of business, revenue, data, or anticipated savings, even if Vantyr has been advised of the possibility of such loss.
Nothing in this Agreement excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Malaysian law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vantyr, its staff, and representatives from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your breach of this Agreement, your misuse of Programme Content, or any misrepresentation made by you in connection with your enrolment.
Either party may terminate this Agreement on written notice. Vantyr may terminate your access immediately where you have materially breached these Terms and have not remedied the breach within 7 days of notice.
Upon termination, your licence to access Vantyr's Content ceases. Sections covering intellectual property, liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution survive termination.
Where Vantyr terminates for reasons other than your breach, it will provide a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of any paid Programme.
This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia.
Before initiating formal proceedings, the parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting Vantyr at [email protected] and allowing a reasonable period (not less than 14 days) for good-faith discussion.
If informal resolution is not achieved, disputes may be referred to mediation under the rules of the Malaysian Mediation Centre before, and not in lieu of, any court proceedings.
Vantyr may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. We will publish the revised version on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. For material changes affecting active enrolments, we will notify affected Participants by email.
Continued use of the Website or Programme after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree with a change, you may contact us at [email protected] to discuss your options.
